Compact with everything we needed (but no shampoo or shower gel). Only a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal which is a big plus (no parking worries). Our only negative was the loud noise of the fridge compressor overnight.

Beautiful property, very classic and breakfast was awesome

The hotel is odd. We were in the ramshackle building above the entrance to the Pier where most vacationers enter. The check in was slow, and the building is a warren of different levels and stairs. The actual room was clean and the bathroom was remodeled and nice. My big complaint was the room we were assigned. We paid dearly for a balcony looking over the water. Our second floor room looked directly into a roof structure. When I asked for a different room, after a delay, they put us in a third floor room with delightful views. So, why assign a bad room when a good room (same class) was available. I greatly dislike the “squeaky wheel” behavior needed in a “vintage” property. Bad faith of the management means this property is off our list for future visits.
